I am a notorious book worm. In college I was know to have read every novel and could always offer a good recommendation to those looking. Pre-kids I could tear through 3-4 books on a vacation and still sometimes have to pick up one more for the airplane ride home. Since Hermione and Portia came into my life my reading time has far decreased. I can now maybe get through a chapter in bed at night before my eyes shut on me. Airplanes ride are now for keeping Portia content and Hermione replete with snacks and movie. However, despite my reduced reading time I still love to read. To me there is no greater pleasure than getting lost in a novel. Ok, maybe eating chelate and drinking white wine while watching Grey's Anatomy but that's about it!
Being a mom of two my days are incredibly busy. Between school drop off and pick up, nursing a baby, and getting Hermione to and from her various activities, I don't have much time to browse bookstores looking for my next read. Hey, I barely have time to log onto Amazon!
Enter Book of the Month Club. Every month I log onto their site and pick from an incredibly well curated selection of novels. They even recommend which one they think I will like best based on a questionnaire I filled out and my previous book selections. Then, like magic my new book arrives at my door in the prettiest packaging! They often even include extras like special edition short stories published just for them ( like the Gillian Flynn one I was sent last month). It could not be easier and so far I have loved and torn through every book they have sent me.
If you want to make finding your next read a whole lot easier I highly suggest checking out Book of the Month Club!
