All I Want For Christmakkuh
Do you remember your first Christmakkuh? I have to thank Seth Cohen and the O.C. gang for giving a name to the holiday Doug and I now celebrate. Every year we get a tree, light a menorah, exchange gifts, drink Almond-Nog, and eat Sweet Potato Latkes. In fact, every year I love to go back and watch the famous O.C. episode!
In preparation for Christmakkuh's fast approach I have put together a gift guide. All of these items are clean, eco-friendly and chic. They would make great gifts for the special people (and animals) in your life!
Happy Christmakkuh shopping!
This 100% natural and organic perfume is amazing. It has a balmy, tuberose scent that will have you fall in love at first whiff!
Nail polish is one of the beauty world's worst toxic offenders. I almost quit using polish altogether for fear of all the nasties. Then I discovered Scotch Naturals. The colors are gorgeous and I can feel good about what I am putting on my body.
Ever since I started using Tata Harper Skincare my skin literally glows. The products are all natural, organic, and smell like the Vermont farm they are grown on. This starter kit would be great to pack for a holiday weekend away!
My dear friend Cari makes the most amazing cuffs, necklaces, and bracelets from her vintage finds. Each one is unique and gorgeous.
This sparkling beauty made from animal friendly synthetics would look great with just about anything! Navy and black is such a chic combination.
Fine and Raw chocolates are my favorite treat. They are truly decadent without being terrible for you. This gift box would be a great indulgence!
Skinny Bitch: Home, Beauty & Style: A No-Nonsense Guide to Cutting the Crap Out of Your Life for a Better Body and a Kinder World
This book will make you want to clean up your act! An easy read, it would be excellent for anyone wanting to live a less toxic life. It would certainly help set a few New Year’s resolutions!
This adorable organic stuffed gorilla would be perfect for my new niece and nephew's nursery. Part of the proceeds go towards the Jane Goodall Institute, a global nonprofit that empowers people to make a difference for all living things. When my niece and nephew get older their Aunt Sara and Uncle Doug can tell them all about our time with the real mountain gorillas in Rwanda!
Maddy loves these 100% organic treats. She comes running whenever she hears the treat jar open.
