Sunbutter Lover

Hermione spends a lot of time in the kitchen with me. She tastes every smoothie, salad, and sweet treat I create. She really is my toughest critic. When I was creating the smoothies for Daily Harvest I wouldn't send an idea to Rachel until Hermione had approved it! Sometimes, when I am cooking I give her a few snacks and sit her on the kitchen counter so she can hang out and be my little sous chef. I find that slow eating snacks work best as they hold her attention for awhile. Anything that takes a little work to eat is perfect. Recently, she has been loving celery with Sunbutter. I give her a few sticks of celery, open up a jar (or sometimes two) of Sunbutter and let her go to town! It's messy business but keeps her happy and occupied.
